LeBron James Free Agent Update: NBA MVP Wants To Play In Warm Climate, Los Angeles Lakers A Possibility? [VIDEO]

The temperature in Miami has never been more enviable. At least not among NBA fans.

In a far ranging interview with Men's Week magazine, potential 2014 free agent and four-time league MVP LeBron James told a reporter he doesn't foresee himself playing for any team where the climate isn't warm.

"I miss the slower pace back home but have grown used to my new city's little perks like fresh fish and sweet fruit,"James told the magazine in comparing South Beach to his native Cleveland, where he spent his first seven NBA seasons. "It will definitely be someplace warm. I don't want to go back to cold winters."

Other than South Beach, the first place that comes to mind which fits King James' criteria is Los Angeles, where the Lakers have cleared out plenty of cap space for next season and are expected to be huge players in the free agency game.

Besides James, teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh can become free agents next summer, along with New York's Carmelo Anthony, Chicago's Luol Deng and San Antonio's Tim Duncan.

Kobe Bryant could also be a free agent, but after losing Dwight Howard this summer in that same way does anyone really believe the Lakers will allow arguably the franchise's most decorated player to walk free?
