Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN the No. 2 Kentucky Wildcats will face off vs. the defending champion Duke Blue Devils in an early-season clash that might be a National Championship game preview which can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Duke fans can listen to the radio broadcast on 620 The Buzz AM, while Kentucky fans may do likewise on WKYM 101.7.

Freshmen are once again leading the way for John Calipari’s Wildcats, particularly point guard Isaiah Briscoe and forward Skal Labissiere. Together, those two are averaging 28 points 20 rebounds through Kentucky’s first two games. Labissiere is in for an early, difficult test tonight, according to Calipari, because Duke center Marshall Plumlee is going to rough him up.

"This is going to be a challenge for Skal because Plumlee plays so physical," Calipari said Monday. "This is a grit game, a grind-it game. They do a great job of wedging on rebounds. If you're not ready to fight, they're going to get offensive rebounds."

Duke is also laden with underclassmen. After winning the title behind freshmen Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow last season, sophomore guard Grayson Allen is the lead dog in 2015. Allen, and senior big men Amile Jefferson and Plumlee, are the steadying hands for a group that includes seven freshmen.

"Our freshmen, I thought, played with much better enthusiasm and more decisiveness than they did (against Siena)," coach Mike Krzyzewski said of his diaper dandies.

Of course destroying Bryant and Siena is a major difference from facing the No. 2-ranked team in the country.
