Former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart tells Sister2Sister magazine he is "very ashamed" of his reality TV soon-to-be ex-wife.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart turned heads last week when she claimed in a trailer for season 6 of the show her husband "didn't want her physically." She later added "that made me wonder."
Kordell Stewart has long been dogged by rumors about his sexuality, including widespread rumors last year that he was caught having sex with another man.
Back then, Porsha Stewart vigorously defended her husband, telling New York radio station Power 105.1 "he's more man to me than I have ever met. So for me, gay is just out of the window. One thing I do know is that my husband loves me and he puts it down and I will be with him forever."
Regrding his ex's change of heart, Stewart told Sister2Sister "The rumors have never been true. I'm not gay. It's sad that she would target the homosexaul community which often times lacks support to begin with."
Stewart later added he believes his wife is simply saying whatever she can to make her storyline on RHOA more compelling.
"It is very disappointing that she will do anything and say anything for a minute of so-called fame," he said. "She can have that life, I just want to continue to be the best single dad and father that I can for my son."
