Brittney Griner Relationship Rumors: Despite Marriage, Glory Johnson Was Never A Lesbian [VIDEO]

WNBA players Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson, who were married in May and have twins together, are no longer in a relationship. One month after their marriage Griner filed for an annulment, and now Johnson is tasked with raising two children as a single mom. And the craziest part is that Johnson, who married a woman, says she is not even a lesbian.

"Not a lot of people understand it. They wanted me to be a lesbian who converted from being straight," she says. "It just doesn't work for me like that," Johnson told Cosmopolitan. She recounted the night she was seduced by Griner, and said she had never had feelings for a woman before.

Griner put her arm around Johnson at a Cirque de Soleil after drinks had been consumed, and Johnson considered it "romantic." Johnson said, "I wasn't thinking about her being a female. She was just somebody who was showing me a really, really good time."

They eventually married, even though a month prior to the wedding both were arrested for assaulting each other during a domestic dispute, and then Johnson was rocked by Griner's decision to drop her, which came a day after Johnson announced her pregnancy.

Now, Johnson said even though she knows she will struggle to support two children on her own, she's developed trust issues. She is hoping she can eventually find love again, but it appears she is not looking for another woman.

"I have male friends, sweet guys that are offering to help me, and I'm not handling it well. I'm pushing it away because I don't trust anybody. I hope I get to a point where I can give somebody a fair chance, because I was so trusting before."

Still, Johnson said she doesn't regret the decisions she made with Griner.

"I followed my heart. After all the things that she put me and my family through, I should hate this person. But at the end of the day, I still worry about how she's taking all this."

Griner is one of the best players in the WNBA, but she's clearly got All-Star game off the court too.
