LeBron James and longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson tied the knot Saturday in front of their friends and family, but one uninvited guest managed to slip past security to attend the event, according to reports. Hot Hot Hoops reported that a woman by the name of Meredith Kaloogian was able to sneak into the nuptials and experience the wedding despite not being on the guest list.
The wedding took place at Capella Chapel at the Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego, Calif. and US Weekly reported that guests, which included James' teammate Dwyane Wade and rapper Jay Z, enjoyed cocktails at a hotel ballroom before going outside to a huge tent and partying. The magazine also reported that the wedding between James and Brinson was attended by at least 200 people, one of which was Kaloogian who was able to make her way into the party despite heavy security.
Kaloogian even managed to get a picture with Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, which she posted on her Instagram.
Hot Hot Hoops reported that photographers and reporters at the event were asked to stay hundreds of feet away from the hotel property, helicopters twirled around the event to try and take distant pictures of the two-time NBA champion's wedding and some guests were even instructed to hand over their cell phones to ensure the privacy of the event, but Kaloogian somehow managed to get in.
When she was asked to divulge some of the information of what she saw at the spectacle, Kaloogian decided to stay mum on the topic.
"I felt all the love and respect the guests had for the James family. I, in return, want to show them my love and respect by not talking about what took place at the Grand Del Mar." Kaloogian told Hot Hot Hoops "There was literally so much love and you could feel it in the air. I have a great feeling about LeBron and Savannah. I am sure it will turn out great for them."
James and Brinson have been dating since they were in high school at age 16, and have two children together LeBron James Jr., 8, and Bryce Maximus, 6.
James has made headlines recently because he could opt for free agency in the summer of 2014 and the basketball world is speculating on a possible destination for the four-time MVP.
According to Hot Hot Hoops, Kaloogian is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and former intern for Fox News who one day dreams of covering football as a reporter.
While many reporters and onlookers had to watch from afar, Kaloogian managed to somehow slip into James and Brinson's wedding undetected, and she has the photograph to prove it.
