Richard Sherman Jim Harbaugh Feud: 'Sportsmanship Doesn't Go Both Ways,' Says Sherman After Postgame Snub [VIDEO]

The Seattle Seahawks shellacked the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football last night, and the loudest Seahawk of all, Richard Sherman, had much to say following the beatdown.

Sherman took a shot at his former college coach Jim Harbaugh, now coaching the 49ers, for a lack of sportsmanship after the game. In an interview with NFL Network Sherman said, "I told him good job, good game, but he didn't give me nothing back. I guess sportsmanship doesn't go both ways."

Sherman and the Seattle defense were prodded by Harbaugh during the preseason because of a string of steroid-related suspensions during Seattle's meteoric 2012 rise to prominence. After San Fran toppled the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, and the Seahawks eked out a close win over the Carolina Panthers, many picked the 49ers in a road upset.

This didn't go over well with Sherman.

"There were a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought we were gonna lose this game," Sherman said. "Don't doubt us. Did they not see the last time we played this team? A lot of things were said this week that we didn't appreciate. We did what we expected to do."

Harbaugh tried to downplay the hurt feelings and bad blood, claiming he didn't realize it was Sherman trying to talk to him in the postgame handshaking.

"I didn't realize it was him until he was moving in the other direction," Harbaugh said. "He came up and patted me on the back, and I congratulated him, and same with Doug Baldwin. I congratulate the Seahawks, they played a hell of a game."

Sherman may be uncomfortably loud at times, but he has always backed up his mouth with stellar play. That was the case Sunday night, as he recorded his first interception of the season, returning it 28 yards. On the night, the Seahawks picked off Colin Kaepernick three times.
