Lamar Odom News: Metta World Peace Says Kardashians Stealing Visitation Time From Odom Kids [VIDEO]

Metta World Peace, like Master P, has not visited good friend Lamar Odom. But for very different reasons.

The NBA veteran, trying to latch on to a second term with the Lakers, had strong comments about Odom, just like Master P, about the first visitors to see Odom in a Nevada hospital after he collapsed at a nearby brothel.

Master P's Criticism Of Kobe Bryant Makes No Sense

Except that World Peace's comments were logical, coherent and aimed toward Odom's estranged in-laws, rather than former teammate Kobe Bryant.

He chastised the Kardashian family -- with the exception of ex-wife Khloe -- for monopolizing the visitation times with the former Laker, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.

Lamar Odom Stood In The Way Of A James Harden Proposal To Khloe Kardashian

"This is nothing against Khloe," World Peace said, referring to the reality television star and Odom's estranged wife. "This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they're taking time away from Lamar's children."

According to the Daily News, World Peace praised Bryant and Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak for visiting Odom as soon as the news broke that he was in the hospital. But the Laker wannabe criticized subsequent visits from the Kardashians, which he believes came at the expense of Odom's children -- 17-year-old daughter Destiny and 13-year-old son Lamar Jr. -- trying to spend time with their father.

"The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe," World Peace said. "Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar's children can see him whenever they want to see him. They're waiting in line to see their own father."

Master P criticized both Bryant and the Kardashians for acting phony in rushing to visit Odom to help their own images, rather than out of genuine care for the fallen star.

The rapper said he cut contact with Odom because of Odom's addictions to drugs and alcohol but said Bryant should've helped get Odom back on the Lakers.

World Peace, who grew up with Odom in the New York City area, said he has not yet attempted to visit Odom because he still does not have a guaranteed roster spot with the Lakers, but he also doesn't want to intrude upon Odom's children's time.
