Golden State Warriors News: Klay Thompson Girlfriend Goes Public With Cheating Claims [VIDEO]

For Warriors guard Klay Thompson, lesson learned.

Thompson's girlfriend Hannah Stocking, a social media darling with 1.5 million Instagram followers, 933,000 Vine followers and 70,000 Twitter followers, used Twitter to call out Thompson for cheating on her, Larry Brown Sports reported, posting a photo of Stocking's Twitter account captured by Busted Coverage before Stocking deleted them.

It seemed obvious that Stocking would use social media to try to embarrass Thompson, as it would seem only to bolster her social media status.

"Stocking seems to be doing everything and anything possible for attention as that is part of her business," Larry Brown Sports reported. "Dating Thompson is probably part of her plan to raise her public profile anyway, so it's hard to feel like the Golden State Warriors star has made some terrible mistake."

The couple had been dating since October, according to a previous Larry Brown Sports report, back when she had only 600,000 Vine followers and not quite 1 million Instagram followers.

Ironically, around the same time, Thompson signed a four-year, $70 million contract to remain with Golden State. He helped the Warriors defeat the Cavaliers for their first NBA championship in 39 years.

Thompson recently made news for comments in response to Clippers' coach Doc Rivers remarks that pointed out the Warriors were fortunate they didn't have to face the Clippers or the Spurs en route to the finals, the Contra Costa Times reported.

"Didn't they lose to the Rockets? Exactly," Thompson said, laughing in reference to Houston coming from behind to beat the Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals. "That just makes me laugh. That's funny. Weren't they up 3-1, too? Yeah, tell them I said that. That's funny, man. That's funny."
