The Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers are meeting up at 1:00 p.m. today in a matchup of franchises who missed the playoffs last season. Both squads are trying to make strides this season, especially the Steelers who have a long tradition of dominance. The game can be live streamed here; Steelers fans can listen to the game on WDVE 102.5 FM, while Titans fans can tune in to WGFX 104.5 FM.

Ben Roethlisberger will open up the 2013 season without his two most important targets from last year, wide receiver Mike Wallace, who signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent, and tight end Heath Miller who tore up his knee.

Roethlisberger will also be dealing with a suspect running game that consists of Isaac Redman, Felix Jones and Larod Stephens-Howling. It's a lot of uncertainty, but they still have head coach Mike Tomlin on the sidelines, who says the Steelers are prepared for the long haul.

"I like our preparation," Tomlin said. "We are focused on what is going to be required for us to do to win this weekend. We're going to take a business-like approach to it like we did in the preseason."

For Tennessee, this season will ride on quarterback Jake Locker's development. He has an explosive group of receivers in Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright, and rookie Justin Hunter. Britt believes the Titans have the ability to take the jump this year.

"We want to take it to the next level," Britt said. "We don't want to be one of them mediocre teams out there not making the playoffs every year."
