Oklahoma City Thunder forward DeAndre Liggins is in hot water after being accused by his girlfriend of assaulting her in front of the couple's two-year-old son, according to reports.

Jasmine Horton, Liggins' girlfriend and the mother of his child, has alleged that the Thunder forward punched her in front of their son, then kicked a door in when she ran from him and shut it.

After busting the door in, Liggins is said to have dropped a fan on her, stomped on her and then dropped an Xbox 360 video game console on her head. Horton had injured hands and fingers after reporting the incident, as well as bruises on her chest and back. Liggins was arrested on Saturday and booked on charges of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon as well as domestic abuse in the presence of a minor.

Liggins' attorney Bill Bock, speaking on his client's behalf, said that Liggins is innocent of all charges. "DeAndre certainly denies ever laying a hand on a female," Bock said. "He's hurt by the allegations but knows the truth will come out."

Sam Presti, the Thunder general manager said very little about the incident aside from acknowledging he is aware of it. "We reiterate the serious nature of this issue," Presti said before following that up by saying the organization has "no further comment at this time."

Last season Liggins played in 39 games for Oklahoma City, registering little impact on the team. He averaged 1.5 points, 1.4 rebounds per game while shooting 37 percent on limited 3-point attempts. At Kentucky, Liggins served as a much more dynamic player. In his junior year with the Wildcats, Liggins averaged 8.6 points per game to go with four rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals. He was also a 39 percent shooter from beyond the arc.
