James Harden Adidas Endorsement Deal: Rocket's Star Goes On Drunken Rant About Sneakers [VIDEO]

James Harden gave Adidas all of the endorsing it needs, drunkenly slurring a message that the brand is "about to be awesome" when cameras caught up with the NBA superstar.

The Rockets star recently signed a $200 million deal to be a spokesperson for Adidas and though he may have been drinking on the job when spilling out of a club at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, he still spoke highly of the brand.

"I got 200 million!" Harden yelled as he piled into his SUV when asked about his deal, according to TMZ. "Adidas is about to crack. Nike is cool, Adidas about to be amazing."

The deal doesn't kick-in until Oct. 1, but Harden undoubtedly raised some eyebrows when he was seen sporting Nike Air Jordans during a date with girlfriend Khloe Kardashian over the weekend. TMZ caught up with the three-time NBA All-Star and saw him rocking the footwear that didn't belong to Adidas, just after the endorsement became official.

Kevin Durant Still Believes He's The World's Best Player

Harden and Kardashian went to see "Straight Outta Compton" and though he dropped the ball, his girlfriend was at least sporting Adidas sweatpants and a sweatshirt with the logo on it.

Harden has clearly been enjoying his downtime after a successful season in Houston that saw the Rockets finish first in the Southwest division with a 56-26 record and make it all the way to the Western Conference finals before being bounced by the eventual NBA champion Warriors in five games.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard should enjoy party time while he still can. The Rocket's Opening Night clash with the Nuggets is just over a month away.
