Steve Weatherford Instagrams Abs [PHOTO]: New York Giants Punter Reveals Chiseled Abs In Photo

It's been well documented that New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford is very into personal fitness, but a picture he posted of his abs recently on his Instagram took it to a whole new level.

The photo can be seen below:

According to a profile done by the New York Times a few years ago, Weatherford's teammates called him the strongest member of the team pound for pound and said he had a "total beach body."

Weatherford revealed on his Instagram just how true his teammates' statements seemed to be.

Weatherford told the New York Post recently that it's important for him to make sure that he doesn't have regrets by working hard on his body and conditioning.

"I want to get the most out of myself," Weatherford said via the New York Post. "I don't think it's important for me to have a six-pack or 20-inch arms, but I think that if I don't work as hard as I can, then I'll have regrets."

Weatherford should probably not have any regrets as he could possibly be the most in-shape punter in the NFL.

Weatherford, who has played in the league since 2006, has appeared in 110 career games and has attempted 503 punts for 22,087 yards with a personal-long of 68 yards. Throughout his career, Weatherford has averaged 43.9 yards-per-punt. Last season in his second campaign with the Giants, Weatherford played in all 16 games, and punted the ball 58 times for a total of 2,757 yards and an average of 47.5 yards-per-punt.

Weatherford won the Super Bowl with the Giants in 2012.

While punters may not be known throughout the league for their toughness and physique, Weatherford's photo may change how they are perceived.
