Ravens Cheerleader Gets Bizarre Sentence For Raping Teenager [VIDEO]

A former Ravens cheerleader has received a bizarre sentence for fourth-degree rape against a 15-year-old boy. Molly Shattuck, 47, has been sentenced to 48 weekends in jail by a Delaware judge, along with a $10,650 fine, and a requirement to register as a sex offender.

Shattuck pleaded guilty to performing oral sex on the teenager, whom she met via social media, last Labor Day at a Delaware beach house. Shattuck’s victim went to school with her son. Shattuck was once the NFL’s oldest cheerleader at 38; she is estranged from her husband Mayo Shattuck, chairman of energy company Exelon Corp. The victim’s family described the incident as “devastating” for their son, while Shattuck has expressed remorse for her actions.

"I will spend the rest of my life making this right," she said.

The Delaware judge has imposed a strange sentence on her. Shattuck must spend every other weekend in jail for the next two weeks. The maximum sentence she faced was 15 years of incarceration. Shattuck’s defense team reportedly blamed her husband leaving her for a younger woman as the psychological catalyst for her to target a sexual partner so young.

Shattuck and the teenager first met at a movie theater, and had several sexual encounters according to NBC News. She would routinely pick him up and drive him to a parking lot. She performed oral sex on him twice at the Delaware beach house in question.
