The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are launching a new "RED Women's Movement" to completely disrespect your girlfriend, per an official announcement.
Or, as the team puts it, to "change the way female fans connect with their home team and own their individual football experience."
"RED is a groundbreaking women's movement designed to recognize and celebrate our female fan base," said Glazer Family Foundation Co-President Darcie Glazer Kassewitz. "Through exclusive offerings and experiences, our female fans will have the opportunity to not only add to their knowledge of the game they love, but also to help create a community through RED and own the way they enjoy football."
The condescending campaign includes insight into topics such as, but not limited to:
- How to blend personal Buccaneer pride with the latest NFL fashions.
- Tips on sharing experiences and ideas via social media platforms such as Pinterest.
- How to express love for the Bucs into original design projects, fashion-forward team apparel and creative culinary creations.
Who needs equal opportunity with NFL fashions, Pinterest and culinary creations at your disposal?
Somehow, we don't think Natalie is impressed with the team's initiative.
Neither was Twitter.
After finishing last season 2-14, the Buccaneers are better off providing RED members insight on how to chop-block the nose tackle to ensure Jameis Winston finishes the year upright. The team can ill-afford further embarrassment.
A special RED Launch Party for The New Buccaneers Women's Movement will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10th at Raymond James Stadium in the west club beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET. Assuming, of course, someone at the organization finally comes to their senses.
