Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1-0) and New York Jets (0-1-0) will look to improve on their preseason records when they clash at MetLife Stadium in preseason Week 2 action. The game can be live streamed here. Jaguars fans can listen to the game at WOKV 104.5 FM, while Jets fans can access it by turning their dials to WEPN, 1050 AM ESPN or 98.7 FM.

The Jets are coming off of a 26-17 loss at the hands of the Lions on the road in Week 1 while the Jaguars are coming off of a terrible 20-3 loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.

Mark Sanchez will get the nod to start at quarterback for the second week in a row as his competition with Geno Smith continues to be the major storyline out of Jets camp. The announcement of Sanchez starting was made a day earlier expected, as head coach Rex Ryan made the call Thursday, just one day after describing Geno Smith's practice on Wednesday as "brutal."

Smith suffered an ankle injury early in the third quarter of last week's loss to Detroit in his NFL debut after just 14 snaps, but has continued to practice amid rumors that he may not be able to play at all in tonight's game. Smith, who went 6-for-7 for 47 yards, rolled his ankle and it was diagnosed as a mild sprain. Sanchez had a play that he'd like to have back in last week's loss. Sanchez threw a pick-six in the team's opening drive, and eventually finished 10-for-13 with 125 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the pick-six and the non-stop media and fan criticism that clouds over Sanchez, the fifth-year quarterback feels as though the first phase of camp has gone well.

"I think it went just about as well as it could," Sanchez said Thursday according to ESPN. "I felt good. I thought I threw the ball well. I was accurate. I did my best to take care of the ball. I moved the offense down the field. I think we did that in spurts."

The Jets are looking to bounce back from a year where they didn't make the playoffs for the second consecutive season. New York is looking to improve on a 6-10-0 overall record and a third place AFC East finish from last year.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, have their own question marks at quarterback heading into tonight's match-up. After being dominated defensively by the Dolphins last week and held to just three points, the Jags are hoping to figure it out offensively against the Jets.

In head coach Gus Bradley's debut with Jacksonville last week, the Jaguars amounted only 279 yards while turning the ball over four times.

While the Jets have Sanchez and Smith competing with one another, the Jaguars have Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert duking it out for the starting spot at signal caller. Henne, who faced his former team in Week 1, went 8-for-11 for 87 yards and led Jacksonville on just one scoring drive, a field goal in the second quarter.
