Members of the PGA Tour will participate in the Barracuda Championship at the Montreux Golf and Country Club, but the world's best will be found in Ohio. The 2015 WGC Bridgestone INvitational will serve as the final tune up ahead of next week's PGA Championship.

Tournament hopefuls include Jordan spieth and Dustin Johnson. Tiger Woods is forced to miss action, as his Official World Golf Ranking is too low at No. 262.

Unsurprisingly, Jordan Spieth enters the weekend a resounding favorite. The two-time major champion opens at +500 according to Bovada. Adam Scott (+1600) and Henrik Stenson are second and third-choice, respectively.

Prediction

The easy money is on Spieth, but it was Rickie Fowler who was nearly victorious at the Quicken Loans national last Sunday. The No. 5 player in the world has a promising track record at the Bridgestone, finishing tied for eighth in 2015 and second in 2011.

That, coupled with three top 10 finishes in his last six appearances, is enough to see the orange aficionado lift the trophy in Akron.
