PGA Tour Leaderboard: British Open Day 3 Recap, Highlights and Tiger Woods Update [VIDEO]

Inclement weather once again stood in the way of the 2015 British Open. Gusting winds as high as 40 mph led to a 10-and-a-half stoppage, meaning The Open Championship will end on a Monday for the first time since 1988.

Dustin Johnson was finally able to complete his second round. The 31-year-old holds a one-stroke lead over Danny Willett. Paul Lawrie is just one of six players that are within three strokes. Below is a recap of the third day's events.

Tiger Woods

Woods carded a four-over-par 76 in the opening round, and followed that with a three-over-par 75 in the second round. The former world No. 1 finished seven shots outside the cut line.

Dustin Johnson (via The Open): "I'm very pleased with my score. This morning, when we went out, it was almost impossible, but we managed to hang in there. After the restart, it was still very tough, but we got some good pars and the birdie on the last was a good way to finish."

Tiger Woods (via The Open): "I only made three birdies in two days and that's not very good," he admitted. "The golf course wasn't playing that hard. I just didn't get much out of either of the two rounds."
