According to reports, Knicks coach Mike Woodson has already informed the league’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year to get rid of the blond hair he was spotted sporting earlier this week.

Other than Rodman, who seemingly dyed his hair more times and colors than even his Chicago Bulls had victories back during the 1995-96 season when they posted a record-setting 72 wins, not many players have donned such colorful locks.
According to Earl Smith, the updated list will soon include his son. The elder Smith told reporters Woodson’s rationale seems to be the more the team makes Smith conform to all the smaller rules the better chance they may have of keeping him in line when it comes to issues of deeper magnitude.
Indeed, with the equally eccentric Metta World Peace having joined the Knicks roster this off season, the need for the organization to stress discipline and team unity this season might well be greater than ever.
Smith, 27, is expected to miss the start of the season as he recuperates from a pair of surgical procedures performed on his left knee earlier this off season. Doctors performed a patella tendon procedure and worked on his torn lateral meniscus. He is expected to be back sometime in November.
A free agent at the end of the season, the Knicks resigned Smith to a four year, $25 million deal just last month.
