Mannings Rap Song [VIDEO]: New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning Calls Himself One-Hit Wonder After DIRECTV Hit 'Football On Your Phone'

"Football On Your Phone" has become the latest hit in New York Giants camp, but quarterback Eli Manning has no inklings of quitting his day job anytime soon.

Eli recently teamed up with his brother, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, to film a rap music video for DIRECTV to help promote how subscribers can get NFL games on their cell phones and tablets through the satellite service. The video can be seen below.

While the Mannings had fun with the advertisement, Eli isn't planning on trading in his shoulder pads for a microphone anytime soon.

"I think I will stay with my day job and keep playing football for long as possible," Manning said before Giants practice Wednesday according to ESPN. "A one and done. A one-hit wonder probably."

The commercial came out on Tuesday, but Giants fans weren't aware of it until they came off the practice field that same day. After they found out about the prospect of Manning rapping in the video, his teammates flocked to the locker room to watch the commercial for themselves on their cell phones.

The song quickly caught fire in the Giants locker room. Despite Manning having appeared in several commercials before and even hosting Saturday Night Live, seeing the signal caller rap really struck a chord with his teammates.

"I've never heard Eli sing, period," right guard Chris Snee told ESPN. "When he controls the radio, it's usually country or something nobody really wants to listen to besides him."

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said he hasn't seen the video yet but he doesn't doubt that Peyton and Eli will be "in the running" for a music award for it. Eli and Peyton were all business during the commercial, but Eli admits that there were definitely some laughs during it.

"Obviously got a lot of laughs together just every time we would kind of look at each other and wonder what we were doing," Manning said per ESPN.

Manning doesn't plan on rapping in the future, and is hoping to help the Giants make the postseason this year after missing the playoffs last season with a 9-7-0 overall record.

Manning retiring from rap may upset his teammates, as they have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Direct TV commercial.

"It's just been funny," Manning said to ESPN. "I guess the song is a little catchy. [There's been] a few guys going to the cafeteria line and they don't even know I am behind them and they are humming the song or the words."
