What They're Saying
USA head coach Jill Ellis (via FIFA): "Nigeria gave us a good fight, as expected. They're a dangerous team. I'm happy with the way we played both with and without the ball. We can attack with confidence if we have a good backline. It's a shame we only scored one goal, but we're very happy to finish top of a difficult group."
Colombia head coach Fabian Taborda (via FIFA): "We didn't play well in the first half [against England]. Our attitude just wasn't right. We came up against a well-organized England side, and we found it very hard to play our usual passing game. In the second half we dominated England, who simply tried to defend and counterattack."
