What They're Saying
China assistant coach Chang Weiwei (via FIFA): "During the halftime break [against New Zealand], I told the team to make faster passes and to find loopholes in their backline. That's why we were able to have the draw. We have been training our players to be faster on the field. I believe our players have improved greatly."
Cameroon head coach Enow Ngachu (via FIFA): "We are excited and very happy for this victory [over Switzerland] to take us through to the second round. Every game has lessons. This performance will have a positive impact for women's football in Cameroon. We were not just defending the colors of Cameroon, but also of Africa."
