What They're Saying
Mexico head coach Leonardo Cuellar (via FIFA): "My players gave everything they had [against England], but it wasn't enough. It's not all over yet, and I'm sure that they'll fight tooth and nail 'til the end. Our next match is a must-win situation. We're going to have to play brilliantly to cause France problems. We're going to work on the things that didn't work today, and hopefully we'll see a different kind of performance."
France head coach Philippe Bergeroo (via FIFA): "We started the match [against Colombia] well. We knew that Colombia were a good and particularly enthusiastic team. They scored against the run of play and things went downhill from there. There were numerous aspects that weren't quite right. We weren't accurate enough with our passes at key moments. Despite that, we still created chances, but their goalkeeper had a great match."
Tactical Preview
