Lindsey Vonn Declares Tiger Woods Greatest Golfer Of All Time; Woods Gets 79th PGA Win, Celebrates With Son Charlie [VIDEO]

Following Tiger Woods' 79th career PGA victory, and fifth this year alone, his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn made quite a bold statement regarding her boyfriend' legacy.

Vonn took to Twitter to celebrate Woods' latest win, tweeting "So proud!!!! #79 #GOAT" G.O.A.T. is a popular acronym for greatest of all time, and while Woods trails Jack Nicklaus in terms of majors victories, Woods has a legitimate claim to that throne.

Vonn is sure to get some backlash from her out-on-a-limb claim, seeing as how Woods' five victories this year are in non-major events. The last time Woods won a major was the U.S. Open in 2008.

Regardless of whatever criticism is aimed Woods and Vonn's way due to her tweets, his 79th win will be special because of the company he kept after the victory. Woods' son Charlie, 4, was in attendance for a first-place finish for the first time in his life.

Watch Tiger celebrate with four-year-old son Charlie.

"This was the first win he's ever been at," Woods said. "That's what makes it special for both of us. He's never seen me win a golf tournament. (Daughter) Sam was there when I won the U.S. Open in '08, and she loves to look at the YouTube videos. Charlie has never had that, never felt what it's like to be with the trophy."

Woods had a very close relationship with his father, who pushed him hard to become the golfer he is today at a very young age. Tiger says he has introduced his own son to golf, but tires not to put pressure on Charlie.

"But it's like what my dad did, and that's keep it fun," Woods said. "Go out there, no lessons, and just have fun. He just emulates what I do. I would go and hit balls and it goes kind of quiet for a while, and then the next thing I know and he's looking over my shoulder and he's kind of watching and just kind of eyeing me."
