Injured Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant is walking without a limp and is expected to be ready for the season-opener.

Bryant, 34, was spotted at the Los Angeles Dodgers game at Dodgers Stadium Wednesday night where they took on the New York Yankees.

A photo of Bryant at the game can be found here.

Reports indicate that Bryant, who was sidelined with a rupture to his Achilles tendon late in the season, was seen at the game without crutches and was said to be walking without a limp. That's big news for the Lakers, who are looking to rebound after being victims of a sweep in the opening round of this year's NBA Playoffs in four games by the San Antonio Spurs. The shooting guard is eying an opening night return, and it seems as though it will be possible.

The team is confident that Bryant will have a speedy recovery and that the veteran will be on the court when the Lakers open up the season. Who the Lakers play on opening night will be revealed when the NBA reveals the 2013-14 season schedule this Tuesday.

To go with the confirmation that Kobe was at the game walking fine, Arash Markazi, who covers the Lakers for ESPN Los Angeles, tweeted that Bryant appears to be healing just fine.

"Kobe's walking just fine by the way," Markazi tweeted. "I still say he plays by opening night."

Bryant, nicknamed "The Black Mamba," has played with the Lakers for his whole career after being drafted 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA draft and being dealt to Los Angeles. Bryant is a five-time NBA champion and won the Most Valuable Player Award in 2008 while also playing in 15-career all-star games.

Before being sidelined last season, Bryant totaled 2,133 points. He has put up 31,617 points in his career.

The Lakers are hopeful Bryant will stay healthy as he will look to win his sixth NBA title with the team this season.
