Sporting KC manager Peter Vermes (via MLS): "It's great to see those guys [Amadou Dia, Saad Abdul-Salaam and Connor Hallisey] getting the kind of time they are, and more importantly, the performances they're putting in."
FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo: "[Rolando] Escobar is a player that can fit in anywhere in the midfield. He is more of an attacking player than a defensive player, but the No. 1 thing he adds is experience. We feel he is a guy that can come in and contribute right away, which is rare in MLS, especially in his position."
