Deion Sanders is bringing his prime time act to reality TV.
According to news reports, the former NFL and MLB star has inked a deal with the Oprah Winfrey Network to begin shooting for his It’s Prime Time docuseries slated to begin airing later this year. The series will chronicle Sanders’ life as a single father raising his five children in a household that also includes his mother, her foster children and an aunt and an uncle.
All the while, Sanders holds down his current job as an NFL Network broadcaster and plays an active role in guiding the charter school he just launched to help underserved areas.
After two years of what seemed like countless accusations being hurled against one another, Sanders was granted a divorce and sole custody of all the couple’s children late last month.
“Thank God, Thank God,” Sanders posted on Twitter. “This 2 year drama-filled divorce is over. Prenup stood, custody of all kids. Pay yo own fees! God is faithful! Truth.”
According to reports, over the course of the proceedings Sanders kicked his wife out of their mansion, leading her to seek out legal representation and aggressively move to take as much of his estimated $250 million dollar fortune as possible.
