The New York Yankees (53-47) scored an improbable comeback victory last night over the Texas Rangers (55-45) to even their four-game series at one win apiece. The two teams meet again tonight at 8:05 p.m. at The Ballpark in Arlington in a game that can be live streamed here. The Yankees radio broadcast can be found on WCBS 880 AM while Rangers fans can tune in to the action on 103.3 ESPN.

Matt Garza (6-1, 3.17 ERA) will make his return to the American League after spending the last two and a half seasons with the Chicago Cubs for the Rangers, who added a quality starter to help the injury depleted rotation.

He will go up against a Yankee lineup that defines the word depleted; they are missing Mark Teixeira, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Francisco Cervelli, or four fifths of their regular infield. The Yanks are also doing without slugging outfielder Curtis Granderson. This is good news for Garza, who is hoping to stem a potential Yankees revival following Tuesday's stirring win.

Rangers manager Ron Washington said Garza is raring to go tonight. "He's excited, big smile on his face. I think I sat here with just as big a smile as he did," Washington said. "He's ready to go, man. I wouldn't expect anything less."

Derek Holland was initially slated to pitch today, but the Rangers didn't want Garza's first Texas start to take place in the sweltering afternoon sun tomorrow. "We want to get him a chance to feel what this heat is like, rather than his first game out he's going in a day game," Washington said. "Derek has done it before, so we send Derek out there."

Opposing Garza will be Andy Pettitte (7-7, 4.47 ERA), who should have no trouble dealing with the big game atmosphere sure to accompany Garza's Texas debut.
