San Antonio Spurs Rumors: Tim Duncan, Teammates Spotted Wasted In Los Angeles [VIDEO]

The San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers finished up an epic playoff series over the weekend. The hype heading into the playoffs was incredible, and many noted that the series was drastically overqualified for the first round, as both teams had legitimate claims as NBA Finals contenders.

Kevin Durant To Finally Play For Good Coach?

The series did not disappoint, going the full seven games and featuring a number of tightly contested battles. In the end, the Clippers pulled out the victory and sent the Spurs home. The loss was undoubtedly tough on San Antonio, particularly after reaching the finals in consecutive years. According to TMZ, they felt the need to blow off some steam afterward.

The Spurs are known as a model organization, and many also consider them straight-laced. But they cut loose after the playoff ouster, hitting Project Club L.A. in Hollywood and getting smashed.

Coach Spo On The Hot Seat?

The team will face a lot of questions this offseason, and the biggest ones will revolve around the future of key pieces. Many think that Manu Ginobili will retire, and there are questions about whether franchise stalwart Tim Duncan will hang up his sneakers also. And some analysts think that if Duncan does hang it up, coach Gregg Popovich could follow him out the door.

Nobody spent any time talking about retirement over the weekend, but given the rarity of San Antonio players throwing down (other than when they have won a championship), it makes you wonder if they might also have been having a preliminary goodbye party for some of their longest-tenured members.
