Two clubs in opposite halves of La Liga table will do battle today in a league match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The first-division clash scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.
The Stage
Sevilla's 3-1 victory over Eibar on Wednesday flipped the script for Valencia. With a game in hand, the club now sits one point behind Sevilla for the final Champions League spot in Spain.
Despite that success, manager Nuno Espirito Santo believes his team is still a work in progress.
"This team is continuing to grow and is getting better game by game," he said (via Football Espana). "We can still develop, improve and rectify any mistakes. With just five games to go, we are showing this and have plenty of conviction. We believe that what we do we do well, and we take firm and decisive steps to remain that way."
"Our idea is very clear in that we always go out and play every game to win."
The In-Form Player
Daniel Parejo is enjoying a modicum of success this campaign. In 29 league appearances, the 26-year-old has nine goals and four assists.
Projected Lineups
Rayo Vallecano's (4-2-3-1): Tono; Nacho, ba, Castro, Tito; Baena, Trashorras; Embarba, Bueno, Kakuta; Manucho
Valencia's (4-3-3): Alves; Gaya, Otamendi, Mustafi, Barragan; Gomes, Fuego, Parejo; Rodrigo, Alcacer, Feghouli
