Rajon Rondo, Kris Humphries Put Fight [VIDEO] Behind Them As Teammates On Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo and ex-Brooklyn Nets power forward Kris Humphries appeared to have some bad blood between each other early last season, when after some slight shoving under the basket Rondo nearly initiated a brawl by charging Humphries.

Now, Humphries and Rondo are teammates following a massive, franchise-changing trade, and ex-Mr. Kim Kardashian is saying that's all in the past. "I knew it was coming," said Humphries. "It took a few questions to get there. I think we'll have a good relationship. I think it happened within the game. You look at it, it really was nothing. The media tends to blow things out of proportion."

No matter what Rondo thinks of Humphries, it's likely they'll get along just fine if the big man can return to the form he showed two seasons ago, when he averaged a nightly double double (13.8 points, 11 rebounds). Humphries said as much, telling reporters, "I think coming in, I have to do my part to earn his respect in terms of playing hard and contributing to the team and just go from there."

Humphries' production dipped drastically in 2012-2013, down to 5.8 points and 5.6 rebounds a night. He blamed the decrease in production on reduced minutes. "You can't produce if you don't play as much. Hopefully I'll get an opportunity to get on the floor more this upcoming season and help the Celtics win."

He added, "This is a chance to start over, get back to hopefully doing some of the things I've done earlier in my career."

While Humphries is trying to become one of the NBA's elite rebounders again, Rajon Rondo is trying to return from ACL surgery as quickly as possible, so he can assume the reins as the Celtics' leader in the absence of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
