Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a match between Corinthians and San Lorenzo. The group-stage clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Arena Corinthians in Tatuape and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Deportes.
Corinthians sit atop Group 2 with 12 points, but are yet to qualify for the Round of 16. With six points and a game in hand, San Lorenzo need six additional points to be in a position to defend their crown.
What They're Saying
San Lorenzo manager Edgardo Bauza (via Diario Popular): "Change the formation for different games? That's a 'coffee table' opinion. At this point in my life, I don't plan to change my form of thinking. We have a familiarity with the players that allows us to make decisions. They're not made up. We are going to think about the games ahead and not make the same mistakes [we did against River Plate]."
Corinthians manager Tite (via ESPN): "I talked to the directors because the technicians and physiologists have to be at the mercy of direction. What is more important for the club? To make a classification [for the Round of 16] on Thursday? Then, we get the points on Thursday. All those who are in the best conditions go to the fifth game, which is the focus. From there, we will meet and see the actual situations of each athlete."
