Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga BBVA table will do battle today in a league match between Real Madrid and Eibar. The first-division clash scheduled for 10 a.m. ET will be held at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.
What They're Saying
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti (via Inside Spanish Football): "We put forward our case because we felt the booking was unfair. We need Cristiano [Ronaldo] for the game tomorrow [Saturday] because we respect Eibar and we can't afford to fail. We need our best eleven possible. Appealing was the normal thing to do, so that justice was served."
Eibar manager Gaizka Garitano (via Inside Spanish Football): "Every loss hurts. Going into halftime losing [to Rayo Vallecano] was a blow for us. Overall, I'm really happy with the team's performance because they gave their all."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Ancelotti will not have his best XI available on Saturday, with Gareth Bale out due to injury (muscle fatigue). Jese, however, will be the beneficiary. The 22-year-old is yet to make a league start, but boasts one goal and an assist across all competitions.
Real Madrid's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Navas; Marcelo, Pepe, Ramos, Carvajal; Modric, Illarramendi, Isco; Ronaldo, Benzema, Jese
Valencia's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Irureta; Vila, Navas, Anibarro, Lillo; Garcia, Fernandez; Lara, Arruabarrena, Capa; Saul
