Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook: 'King' Khan Dismisses IBF Champion, Says 'Nobody' In America Knows Him [VIDEO]

Britiish welterweight Kell Brook decimated his mandatory challenger, Jo Jo Dan, in England on Saturday in his first defense of his IBF title. Now, he wants a major showdown in England with his countryman Amir Khan. Unfortunately, Khan hasn't deemed Brook worthy of the biggest fight of his life.

"No one in America knows who Kell Brook is, whereas I can't walk the street without it getting crazy, everyone knows who Amir Khan is but it's a nice thing," Khan said. "I've seen his performance against Jo Jo Dan and he's going on like beating Jo Jo Dan is like beating a five-time world champion."

Khan is 2-0 since moving up to the welterweight division, and both of his wins were dominant. Since joining up with Virgil Hunter Khan has taken less big shots, and seems less vulnerable to the knockdowns that plagued his ascent earlier in his career.

Khan does not have a belt, whereas Brook does. He took the IBF title off of previously undefeated Shawn Porter in 2013, then defended it for the first time Saturday. Brook has never been beaten, yet Khan says he's faced better competition.

"He was fighting a B, C-class opponent, no disrespect to Jo Jo Dan but Kell is now a world champion and he needs to fight world class opponents, the likes of the [Keith] Thurman and you have big names in the welterweight decision but he's picking and choosing who he wants to fight," Khan said.

Brook singled out Khan in his post-fight interview and threw a little shade his way too. "If you're watching Amir Khan, then get in here with me. I know you're delicate around the whiskers," Brook said. His promoter Eddie Hearn said that Wembley Stadium is available on June 13, although that's highly unlikely since Ramadan will sideline Khan.

"June I can't do because of Ramadan, maybe that's why he's calling me out because he knows that I can't do June. Maybe the end of the year it could be done, I fight twice a year but that's because Ramadan falls right in the middle."
