Katie Nolan Fox Sports: Garbage Time Host Tackles The Conflict of Interests In Sports Journalism [VIDEO]

Katie Nolan was back for another episode of Garbage Time on Fox Sports 1 Sunday evening.

Like last week's premiere, Nolan open with a week-in-review direct address to the camera before segueing into an extended takedown of the conflict of interest in sports.

Nolan shed a light on the plight of former Washington Post columnist Jason Reid, whose AM radio show "The Man Cave" was cancelled because of Reid's criticism of Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.

Nolan pointed out how hypocritical it is that many sports media properties are owned by the same corporations and individuals they should be serving as watchdogs for, saying "the media isn't supposed to be your partner...it's supposed to be your SAT proctor who keeps and eye on you and calls you out if you say something shady."

Things have gotten so bad for unbiased sports reporting, that the once-laughable TMZ has now become one of the only outlets able to cover sports controversies without ruffling corporate feathers.

Nolan later had a one-on-one sitdown with college basketball announcer Bill Raftery.

Raftery dished on who the best drinking buddy in the business is (he says Verne Lundquist), as well as the origin of his famous catchphrases like "Onions" and "lingerie on the deck."
