The former Carolina Panthers defensive end is considered one of the most talented defensive ends in football, but he has a string of bad behavior that left many franchises wary to sign him.
Most notably, Hardy was accused of domestic violence and assault in 2014, after reportedly threatening his then-girlfriend and throwing her on a bed of guns. Charges against Hardy were ultimately dropped after the woman refused to testify against him.

Early details indicate that Hardy's deal contains north of $2 million in guaranteed money, with much of the rest coming via incentives that Hardy will try and meet throughout the season.
Many on twitter were quick to share their two cents on Hardy joining the Cowboys, and not many of them were positive.
