Today at 2:00 p.m. ET on ESPN the No. 19 North Carolina Tar Heels (21-10, 11-7) will take on the Boston College Eagles (13-18, 4-14) in their first ACC Tournament matchup which can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Tar Heels fans can catch the radio broadcast on News Talk 1110 WBT, while Eagles fans may do likewise on 850 WEEI AM.

UNC handled BC fairly easily in their only meeting during the regular season, but Heels head coach Roy Williams is guarding against overconfidence against a squad that won just four games during ACC play.

"It's a new season now, as everybody says," Williams said. "We get to go out there and see if we can play our tails off for four days. And if we do, we've got a chance to win the whole thing. When we play really well, we've got a chance to beat anybody."

The top priority for UNC's defense, which is swarming at times and inattentive at others, is containing junior guard Olivier Hanlan, BC's leading scorer. He averaged 19.6 points this year and has exceeded scored 25 or more points six times.

Hanlan sank a game-winning jumper to put BC over Georgia Tech yesterday. "Obviously at the end of the day, put the ball in the hands of a special player and he makes a play," coach Jim Christian said. "As I told the team, you don't have to play great to advance in conference tournaments. You just have to advance."

Unfortunately for BC, stopping UNC won't be so cut and dried. They have threats all over the floor, and a big advantage on the boards where they rank second in the country.
