Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial LIVE STREAM FREE Day 25: Witness Saw Hernandez With Missing Glock Used To Kill Odin Lloyd?

Aaron Hernandez, the ex-New England Patriots star tight end who stands accused of orchestrating the murder of Odin Lloyd, and pulling the trigger in his shooting death, will be back in court again today at 9:00 a.m. Follow Day 25 of the court proceedings free here.

The .45 caliber Glock authorities believe was used to murder Lloyd has never been recorded, but 25 days into Hernandez’s trial, a man is claiming to have seen Hernandez in possession of that very weapon two nights before the fatal shooting.

“It looked like a semiautomatic gun,” Samson Michael, an account manager at the W Hotel’s parking service. Michael testified that Hernandez was sitting inside a black Chevy Suburban and had his shirt lifted up, revealing the firearm.

Michael was subjected to fierce cross examination from Hernandez’s attorney Michael Fee. “Isn’t it true you have consistently said you only thought it was a gun?” Fee asked. He also said that Michael can’t be sure it was a gun, and might have mistaken an iPod or remote control for a gun.

District Attorney William McCauley poked fun at that defense. “Do you know what a TV clicker is?” McCauley asked Michael. “Did you see a remote control in the waistband of the defendant’s pants that night?”

While the testimony could be damning, SI.com’s Michael McCann finds the testimony tough to digest under real scrutiny since Michael witnessed the gun through the glass of his own car, in the dark, while sifting through pedestrian traffic. He also admitted only saw the gun briefly, which was highlighted by Fee.
