Marie Sharapova Accuses Serena Williams Of Having Married Mistress, Being A Homewrecker

Wimbledon hasn’t even started yet and already the action is heating up.

The simmering war of words between Serena Williams and Marie Sharapova has reached fever-pitch levels after Sharapova accused the world’s top-ranked player of having a boyfriend that is “married and has kids.”

According to USA Today Sports, Sharapova sounded off after Williams indirectly blasted her in a recent Rolling Stone Magazine article where she asserted: “There are people who live, breathe and dress tennis. I’ mean, seriously, give it a rest. She begins every interview with I’m so happy. I’m so lucky--- it’s so boring. She’s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it.”

Many---Sharapova apparently among them--- thought that was a direct dig at the world’s No. 2 ranked player and her rumored relationship with new boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov. Williams and Dimitrov reportedly were also once an item.

"Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for Serena and what she's achieved on the court," Sharapova also told USA Today. "If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids. Talk about other things, but not draw attention to other things."

Williams has been romantically linked to current Coach Patrick Mouratoglou, though neither has openly discussed their relationship. Until recently, Mouratoglou was married.
