Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola (via Pulse): "I have great respect for our opponents. Cologne is the second best away team. They have a very good defensive organization. It's always good to analyze the opponents and get to know them. I think our team is good, but naturally, we can improve."
FC Koln manager Peter Stoger (via FIFA): "If they 'suss' us out, then it's going to be hard to survive. Our task is therefore going to be to ensure they don't get any pleasure out of this game. We're going to have to put in a lot of effort and we need [goalkeeper] Timo [Horn] in top form."
