Stacie Juris, who finished as the second runner up in the 2013 Miss USA competition, has lit up search engines all over the country thanks to her sexy photo with Miss Massachusetts, Sarah Kidd, in which the two are clad in nothing by hockey jerseys.
Juris, Miss Illinois, posed for the photo with Kidd because their states' hockey teams, the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins, respectively, are currently battling for the Stanley Cup trophy, the most historic trophy in the world.
The popularity of the photo was astounding, as Juris skyrocketed up trending lists all over the Internet. Part of the reason was that she looked stunning in her Blackhawks jersey; the other part was some buried history from 2011.
In all the searching, an arrest for shoplifting become common knowledge. Juris was arrested in 2011, according to reports, for allegedly stealing $288 dollars worth of clothes from Orland Mall. The Tinley Park native was charged with retail theft. At the time, she tweeted one single word, "humbled."
Juris never served any time for her alleged shoplifting, and she has clearly rebounded from her mistake. Despite missing competitions during 2012, she overcame the issue and performed quite well during the Miss USA competition.
Her highlight of the evening was her answer to a question about lowering the nationwide drinking age from 21 to 18, in an effort to lower the rate of teenage binge drinking.
Juris' response was, "I think if you're going to drink irresponsibly, you're going to do so whether you're 18, 19, 20 or 21." You still have a responsibility to encourage responsible drinking."
