Cleveland Cavaliers Rumors: LeBron James Drops Into NYC For Car Commercial In Crowded Street

The Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to be a superteam when they convinced LeBron James to come back to the club during free agency and then followed that up by trading for Kevin Love. The team got off to a slow start during the first couple of months of the season, but over the last several weeks, the team has really picked up its level of play.

Cleveland is still in the middle of the playoff picture for the Eastern Conference, but if it keeps playing at such a high level, it will likely play its way into home-court advantage for at least one round of the playoffs.

Also, now that the Cavaliers have started playing better, the level of discussion surrounding the team has died down considerably, and it also appears that Cleveland has even made some room for its players to pursue activities off of the court.

James took advantage of this recently when he was in New York City to film a car commercial. According to TMZ, James was in the city to film a Kia commercial, and he handled it like a true professional.

When he arrived on the busy city street where the filming was taking place, the car was already in position, and the crew was ready to go. James showed up having his part down cold, and it took just two takes for the director to be satisfied with the shoot. James then dipped out and continued on his way to NBA All-Star Weekend.

The Cavaliers are 33-22 this season and in second place in the Central Division.
