What They're Saying
Congo head coach Claude Le Roy (via News24 Nigeria): "We said that our dream was to reach the quarterfinals. It is done and we all know that the appetite comes with the eating, so we want to go further. We are going to face a team that I know well, as it is 80 percent or 90 percent of the group that I put in place. We won't see much change to the squad that we built. It is going to be a very tricky game. They have a huge athletic power and we will have to answer tactically. We know their potential and it is going to be David vs Goliath, but we know that sometimes the small David caused some problems to the big Goliath, so we are preparing accordingly."
DR Congo head coach Florent Ibenge (via Global Post): "We have qualified for the quarterfinals with some difficulty, just as we had difficulties qualifying for this tournament as the 16th team. We have not qualified for this stage since 2006, so this is great for us."
