The Cleveland Indians (30-28) were beaten by the New York Yankees (33-25) for the second straight time Tuesday night, and suffered the indignity of home plate umpire ejecting infielder Mike Aviles after the game ended. Today, the Indians will look to avoid a sweep at 1:05 p.m. at Yankee Stadium. The game can be live streamed here with a subscription. Yankees fans trying to listen to the action while working or otherwise can tune in to WCBS 880 AM while Indians fans can hear the action at WTAM 1100.

It will be tough sledding avoiding a sweep today for the Indians, who will need to overcome Yankees ace CC Sabathia (5-4, 3.71 ERA), who broke out of a slump last week with a dominant victory over the Boston Red Sox. With the Yankees having lost four straight games to the New York Mets, and Sabathia himself having gone about a month without a win, the hefty lefty gave his team 7.1 innings of one-run ball against the first-place Red Sox. He struck out 10 and walked one in that victory.

The Indians are in second place in the American League Central, and were breathing down the Detroit Tigers' necks until a recent skid. They've dropped three games in a row, and are 3-7 in their last 10 games. Making matters worse, they've lost shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera for a minimum of 15 days after he was placed on the disabled list with a strained quadriceps.

Indians first baseman Nick Swisher, one of the most beloved Yankees of the last few years, spoke about his return to the Bronx this week and about how his new club can pull itself together.

"I'm always up for the challenge of playing here and playing against the Yankees," Swisher said. "We aren't playing our best right now and we have to take a look in the mirror and turn things around."
