The first ODI match of the Australian Carlton Tri-Series kicks off on Friday. The tournament will feature these two teams and India (who gets their first piece of action of January 18) battling it out.
With the Cricket World Cup less than a month away, all three times will be looking to play with lineups and try and find the best strategy and combinations to succeed.
The Australian squad go into this match as the heavy favorites to defend their home turf. England is a formidable team, but they have just two wins to go with ten losses in their last 12 ODIs on Australian soil since 2006.
