Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (21-11-4, 46 points) and Anaheim Ducks (26-9-6, 58 points) face-off for the first of two meetings this season live from the Honda Center in Anaheim. New York has won two straight games and 10 of 11 overall as it embarks on a three-match trip through Califronia while Anaheim has won two straight contests and plays the third contest of a five-match homestand it is 2-0 on thus far.

The Ducks lead the NHL in points and thus are on top of the Pacific Division while the Rangers own the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Rangers are coming of fof a 6-1 drubbing of the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and they feel their power play is clicking heading into a tough road trip.

"I think our power play is like our 5-on-5 game. It's improving," coach Alain Vigneault told the New York Daily News on Tuesday. "You've got two units that are both getting some good looks, two units that it seems every other game there's one unit that's scoring, then the other game the other unit's scoring."

Rick Nash is second in the NHL with 24 goals this season and leads the Rangers with 38 points. Martin St. Louis (12 tallies, 18 assists) and Derick Brassard (10 markers, 20 helpers) are tied for second on the team with 30 points.

The Ducks are coming off of a 4-3 victory over the Nashville Predators on Sunday and will turn to Ilya Bryzgalov in the crease as he plays for the first time since Dec. 19.

"We used that time to get myself [ready] as much as possible and good physical shape," Bryzgalov told NHL.com. "The game is a little bit different because it's a different pace."

Bryzgalov is 0-1-0 through two appearances this season and has allowed eight goals on 38 shots this season.

New York is set to counter with Henrik Lundqvist and he is 18-8-3 with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage while ranking second in the league with five shutouts.

"The King" will look to thwart off an Anaheim unit that is paced by Ryan Getzlaf, who is tied for third in the NHL with 31 assists and fourth with 44 points.

Ryan Kesler is second on the team with 29 points off of 12 goals and 17 assists while Sami Vatanen has found the twine nine times and added 17 assists for 26 points.

The Rangers begin a tough road trip while the Ducks try to keep surging atop the NHL when the puck drops tonight at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
