CAPITALS vs MAPLE LEAFS Watch Live Stream Online: Washington at Toronto

Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Washington Capitals (20-11-7, 47 points) and Toronto Maple Leafs (21-16-3, 45 points) take the ice at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto for the second of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Washington fans can hear all of the action on WFED 1500 while Toronto fans can do the same on TSN 1050.

Washington has won two straight games and begins a two-match road trip while Toronto has dropped two straight contests and begins a two-game homestand.

The Maple Leafs topped the Capitals 6-2 the first time these two teams met this season on Nov. 29.

Washington owns the third and final automatic playoff spot in the Atlantic Division while Toronto sits in fourth place, but owns the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Capitals are coming off of a 4-3 victory over the Florida Panthers on Sunday and will playing the Maple Leafs in the first game since they fired coach Randy Carlyle.

"It's not that good for an organization when they change coaches," Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin said via NHL.com.. "But I am pretty sure they are going to play with lots of urgency and they are going to try to play their best. It's going to be an interesting game and a fun game, too." 

Ovechkin is second on the Caps with 34 points off of 19 goals and 15 assists while Nicklas Backstrom leads the way with 39 points off of 12 markers and 27 helpers.

The Maple Leafs announced that Peter Horachek will take over at the helm and some changes may be in store for the lineup.

"I think when you have just one day there are only small tweaks you can do," Horachek told NHL.com. "As we go forward there may be things we talk about in terms of changes, but right now it is important the team regain its resolve and attitude about coming forth and being prepared to play as a group with some focus and energy."

Phil Kessel has paced the Leafs this season with 41 points off of 18 goals and 23 assists while James van Riemsdyk has 17 markers and 20 helpers for 37 points and Tyler Bozak has found the twine 13 times and added 17 assists for 30 points.

In net, Toronto turns to Jonathan Bernier and he is 15-9-3 with a 2.67 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

Washington is likely to counter with Braden Holtby and he is 18-8-6 with a 2.30 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
