The Subway Series between the New York Yankees (30-20) and the New York Mets (19-29) continues tonight after the Mets took Game 1 thanks to an RBI single by second baseman Daniel Murphy in the eighth inning. Tonight, the Yankees will try to avoid a Citi Field sweep at 7:05; the game can be live streamed for free here or with a subscription at MLB.com. Yankees fans can listen to the game on WCBS 880 while Mets fans can turn their dials to 101.9 WFAN FM.

The standings can be thrown out the window tonight as two of New York's best pitchers will face off tonight. Hiroki Kuroda (6-3, 2.67 ERA) has been the Yankees' top pitcher in 2013, while Matt Harvey (5-0, 1.93 ERA) has been one of the best hurlers in MLB period, and has a chance to start this summer's All-Star Game in Queens if he keeps it up.

With their ace Harvey on the hill, the Mets have an opportunity to win their third straight game, which would be their longest winning streak of the 2013 season. Mets' third baseman David Wright, who homered at Citi Field for the first time this season last night, said tonight's game could be a springboard back into contention for his club.

After last night's win, Harvey told reporters, "We Harv going tomorrow, it provides us some momentum. If we're going to climb our way back into the thing and start heading towards .500 we're going to have to win these close games ... hopefully we can ride this momentum into tomorrow with Matt's start."

Kuroda, meanwhile, is pitching through a calf bruise after getting drilled by a Manny Machado line drive. Describing the pain he felt after taking the liner off his leg, Kuroda said, "When I tried to move my feet, I felt it a little bit."

The Yankees will need Kuroda in top form if they are to hang the first loss on Harvey's season on him tonight.
