Alex Rodriguez Selling House: New York Yankees Star Who Dumped Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson, Now Dumps His Miami Mansion for $30 Million

If Alex Rodriguez expects to continue to have relationships with Hollywood's leading ladies, he's going to have to do with without his babe lair.

The New York Yankees third baseman has sold his mansion in Miami for $30 million, TMZ.com reported. Rodriguez, who has yet to play this season while he continues to rehabilitate from offseason hip surgery, netted $15 million on the sale, according to the report.

Rodriguez bought the waterfront estate for $7.4 million in 2010 and added $7.6 million in renovations to the 20,000 square foot estate that includes two docks, a vanishing edge pool and a Zen garden.

Rodriguez put the Miami home up for sale in August with an asking price of $38 million, according to TMZ. It has nine bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Actor Matt Damon has a house on the same street.

Rodriguez has been linked romantically to such stars as Madonna, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson. He was dating Diaz in 2010, according to various media reports.

A-Rod has maintained a low profile, however, since the end of last season. The hip surgery, performed in January, likely will sideline the 37-year-old slugger until after the All-Star break.

Rodriguez also has been linked in several reports to a steroid scandal that also became public in January. The Miami New Times reported obtaining files indicating a now-defunct anti-aging clinic in Florida called Biogenesis supplied steroids to Rodriguez and other athletes since 2009.

Rodriguez admitted to steroid use from 2001-03 when he was a member of the Texas Rangers. Sports Illustrated broke the news in 2009 that A-Rod had tested positive for two anabolic steroids in 2003.

The Yankees still owe Rodriguez $114 million for the next five years as terms of his 10-year, $275 million contract that he signed in December, 2007.
