The Los Angeles Dodgers (18-26) and Milwaukee Brewers (18-26) will meet this afternoon at 1:10 in the rubber match of a three-game set at Miller Park. The game can be live streamed for free by clicking this link or at MLB.com with a subscription fee. Dodgers fans can check out the radio broadcast of the game at 570 Fox Sports LA while Brewers fans can hear the action at WTMJ 620.

The Dodgers and Brewers share identical records a month and a half into the season, and both squads are equally disappointed. While the Dodgers' situation has been covered ad nauseam due to the tremendous star power on the roster, the Brewers were expected to be an under the radar threat to the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Central division.

Unlike Los Angeles, which is dealing with extended slumps to star players, Milwaukee relies upon one star offensively, Ryan Braun, who has delivered the goods up until this point. Braun is batting .322 with eight home runs and 29 RBI, while posting a .967 OPS. Even though the Brew Crew lost first baseman Prince Fielder last offseason, offense has not been the trouble.

The Brewers' pitching staff has been a letdown in 2013, starting with ace Yovani Gallardo and continuing to today's starter Wily Peralta (3-4, 5.94 ERA). The Brewers have the worst team ERA in the National League (4.48), and have given up the second-most hits in the NL (413); they trail only the Colorado Rockies in that respect, and the Rockies play half their games in known hitting haven Coors Field.

The Dodgers will counter with Hyun-jin Ryu (4-2, 3.42 ERA), a South Korean import who has been successful in 2013 but has not been able to go deep into games. Of Ryu's stamina, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said, "At 100 [pitches], he's pretty much out of gas."
