Terrence Williams, a journeyman forward selected 11th overall by the New Jersey Nets in the 2005 draft, has been arrested for brandishing a firearm at the mother of his child during an argument, according to reports. His bail has been set for $25,000.

Williams allegedly began arguing with the woman in a Seattle parking lot during a scheduled visitation exchange involving the pair's 10-year-old son. During the argument, Williams is accused of making threats at her and revealing his weapon. The 25-year-old forward was eventually located by police and arrested in what's being termed as a domestic violence investigation.

The accused forward has denied pointing the gun at the woman, but claimed he owns the gun because he feels threatened by her and her boyfriend.

Williams has led the life of an NBA nomad, playing for four teams in his four professional seasons, and also doing a brief stint in China. His best stretch of play came during the 2011-2012 season while he was with the Sacramento Kings; in 18 games Williams averaged 8.8 points per game, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists. For his career, Williams has averaged 7.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per night.

He was a much more impactful talent in college, where he spent three years at Louisville. In his college career, Williams averaged 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists to go along with 1.5 steals. At six feet, six inches and 220 lbs., Williams was seen as a potentially dominant wing presence capable of stymieing top-notch offensive talents as well as contributing offensively.

Outside of his 12 games in Houston during the 2011-2012 season, though, Williams 3-point shot was non-existent. For his career Williams has connected on just 31.7 percent of his shots from long range, and has registered a 41 percent field goal percentage from the floor.
